Beautiful very ornate Sterling Silver Picture Frame. Hand Chased in the late 19th or early 20th century with Flowers, Scrolls, Leaves and what appears to be Thistle Blossoms. This frame has a hand cut wood back and easel in a clear, maple colored wood. There are a few minor chips to the wood and one place in the upper right corner of the sterling where it has split, but is still tight. There are also a few "dings in the silver - see pictures for details.
Frame measures 10 3/4" wide x 13" tall. Picture opening is 6 1/2" wide x 8 3/4" tall. The only mark I can locate is 925 along the inner bevel, upper left corner.
