Located in Rocky Hill, CT, the Connecticut Foundry produced a line of sand cast metal bookends that had a distinctive style characterized by very soft details. They manufactured solely in iron. All but a few of their bookends, from the late 1920s to early 1930s were made with a simple patinated finish.
