Unusual and beautiful delft or faience polychrome charger.
This is a large -- 13 1/2" diameter - tin glazed charger, circa 18th Century. This could be Dutch or from another European country. Tin glazed pottery from Holland is called Delft, the same type of pottery from other European nations is usually called faience.
The charger features beautiful flower painting and a very graphic butterfly, as well as a nicely designed border.
Sadly, there is some restoration. Above the butterfly, there is a section of rim with several cracks that I've tried to show, front and back, in the last two photos. It looks like one piece has been glued back in.
13 1/2" diameter, about 2 1/4" deep at the rim.
