Beautiful Liverpool creamware pitcher with beautiful black transfer prints, circa 1780 - 1800.
Wonderfully crisp and clear transfer prints; one side has "Shepherd's Boy," the other side "Village Maid." Both have sweet poems underneath the title.
This jug is in wonderful condition, the only very minor flaw being a tiny bruise with associated hairline on the handle (also a tiny associated chip on the inside of the handle.)
Height 5 3/4".
