Nice pair of 19th Century cobalt blue American pressed glass handled whiskey tasters.
Whiskey tasters with handles are much less common than those without handles. This pair has panelled arches and a beautiful cobalt color. Essentially, whiskey tasters were miniature glass mugs which were used in bars around the time of the Civil War. It's easy to imagine these having been used in a bar in the Old West.
Excellent condition, the only flaw being a tiny nick on the rim of one of the glasses.
The glasses measure 2 3/8" high.
