Here's a nice small Early American hanging mirror in a nice old finish.
This looks to be from the Victorian period, circa 3rd Quarter 19th Century.
The appearance is similar to the handled mirrors made by the Shakers. This is more useable, as it has a nice brass (or perhaps brass plated?) bail for hanging. In any case, a charming little mirror with excellent workmanship and original finish.
Exclusive of the bail, it measures about 6 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 3/4". Excellent original condition.
