English porcelain botanical plate circa 1820.
Exquisitely painted peonies in shades of pink with orange highlights. Leaves painted in green and yellow. The plate has an elaborate gilt border.
The only mark is a pattern number 190, which possibly could be matched up with an early pattern book to determine the maker, but I couldn't find it. Likely makers are Davenport, Coalport, Derby and others.
This is a pair -- each with different botanical painting -- with another plate I'm listing today.
