Elegant Dr. Wall Worcester dessert dish in the Queen Charlotte pattern, circa 1780 - 1790.
Beautifully scalloped dish in wonderful condition, in colors of cobalt blue, orange, pink and gilt. One stunning detail that is not seen in the photos is that in the blue sections the designs are all outlined in gilt. You have to hold the dish slightly tilted to the light to see this, but it's very visible in person.
Excellent condition, with a few small glaze scratches in the white center and a tiny bit of missing gilt. About as good an example as you will ever find.
Marked with the Dr Wall period hatched blue crescent mark.
I left on the old dealer tag which gives the date as circa 1790 and a price of 185 British pounds.
