This is one of the most adorable chromo I’ve ever seen!
These charming little girls presenting the puppet to the cat,who seems very happy, are absolutely irresistible.
This chromolithograph comes from the attic of a Norman castle, property of a French countess.
It had to decorate the children’s room at the end of the 19th century.
The chromo is fixed on a blue canvas and a wooden frame as a real painting. Please note some little holes or defects on the paper, due to age and very pardonable. They are not very visible when the chromo is hanging on the wall.
It is in its original gilded wooden stuccoed frame, which has suffered a little over time, there are several lacks of stucco here and there which have been hidden with some gilding, but I preferred to leave it as I found to preserve its authenticity.
Dimension: 13’’ x 16’’ with the frame (33 x 40,5cm) 10’’x13’’ sight (25x33cm)
I’m sure that like me you will love this charming chromolithograph!
The photos were taken in a sunny place, colors may be different according to the lighting.
Thank you very much for visiting my shop!
