This adorable picture of a little girl making an enormous soap bubble with a cherub inside,is named ‘’ Vision Aimable ‘’ .
It is surrounded by an amazing cardboard,’’passe- partout’’,decorated with a pattern in relief of flowers and bees, which are made of cut and painted fabric.
A foliage pattern painted in watercolor completes the decor.
A large border, made with a kind of burgundy velvet and a gilded paper border, showcases it.
The whole is surrounded by a wooden stuccoed gilded frame, bordered by a beaded frieze.
There is a little lack of beads at the bottom.
There are some small humidity stains on the beige cardboard and some little white traces on the flowers, maybe also humidity.
Please note also some small wear on the gilding of the chromo.
But these little defects, normal for the age,do not arm the charm of this frame.
At the back, there is the original old label with the name of the shop where it was framed,in the little town of
Dimension : 15,8’’ x 11’’ with the frame (40cm x 28cm)
9,3’’ x 5,5’’ the painted cardboard (23,5cm x14cm)
3,8’’ x 2,4’’ the little chromo (9,5cm x 6cm)
A very charming and decorative framing.
Please do not take into account reflections on the glass.
