These amusing holders were used in French restaurants and breweries in the 1930s,to present the day menu or indicate a reserved table.
I think they were offered by the company Perrier to their good customers.
They are made of white metal in a very Art-Deco shape. There is a goldsmith mark with a crown and ‘’rex’’ inscribed on the base of three of them.
The bottles are made in two parts to allow to put a card. They bear the same inscriptions as the real ones.
They are in overall good condition for old objects that served, just some minor oxidation stains, and one of the bottle a little more open than the others, please see photos.
It’ a very uncommon set which will give a ‘’ bistrot français’’ touch to your table!
They are 2,75 inches ( 7cm ) height and 1,57 inches ( 4cm ) base diameter.
