Here is a set of 24 elegant knives with light horn handles.Ferrules are silver plated and blades are of stainless .
There are 12 large knives and 12 smaller for cheese ,fruit or dessert.
Except a large knife’s blade slightly damaged ( photo 8 ) and some spots on 6 of them (4 on the large and 2 on the small ) please see photos, they are in good condition, having very little used.
The blades bear the mark ‘’ Batard à Chartres ,rue de la Pie ‘’ a renowned knife makers and goldsmiths family whose shop was located not far from the famous Chartres cathedral !
There is also a factory stamp on the other side of the blade.
They are presented in their original cases with the fabric label ‘’Batard-Chartres’’.
These high quality pretty knives will give an extra elegance touch to your table.

Please to keep them beautiful for a long time never put them in your dishwater ,old knives don’t like it !
Heat melts the inner glue and the result is horrible…

Dimension : for the large 24,2 cm = 9’’ 1/2
for the smaller 20 cm = 7’’ 7/8
