Nice pair of French apothecary glass jars,Napoleon III era, bearing gold and black paper label glued inside.
Lids are made of red and gold painted metal sheet.
One of the labels (Foecula ) takes off on one side visible on photos 4 and 7 ,and the other ( Pulvis ) is torn on the edges.Note also a small lack of paint on one of the lids.
But these small defects are very pardonable for such old objects.
They are 8,46 inches high with the lid (21,5cm ).
These antique jars will be perfect in a curiosities cabinet.
