Victorian revival circa 1945. The 14 karat earrings have gold filled screw backs but we can convert to 14 karat post or wires for purchaser-please email. The bottom cabochon coral is an antique 9 mm bead that split in half, if you look in the back you can still see the drill hole. It must have been sentimental as they then used the broken bead to make these earrings. The earring tops are set with three 4 mm coral cabochons. The bottom beads were obviously hand made. They have blemishes, spots and are not perfectly round. Well back then it was "waste not, want not"! The top coral cabs were not beads. The coral color is the old coral salmon. The coral is all natural and untreated. The earrings measure 1 1/8th long, and move when dangling. The earrings test as 14 karat gold but some one soldered gold filled screw backs on them. I give them credit they did a good job and the the screw backs can be removed with no damage to the earrings.Shipping is $2.75, Priority shipping is $7.50 upon request.
