My client states this was her Grandmothers. The Grandmother was the wife of a US Serviceman ( Green Beret) and they were stationed in Occupied Japan.. My client estimated this bracelet is from the late 1940s, early 1950s. The Pagoda, abacus, and wood fired bath charms are stamped "Silver", the others acid test as silver. I cannot say exact purity of silver by acid test but they tested like sterling, of course the may be silver plate. The charms are as follows: Pagoda, hand carry sedan, wood fired bath, chopsticks in a bowl, articulated fish ( Not Silver), clothes washing pan, Odd jug of some type, unique covered hanging pan,Rice caddy, Rickshaw with moving wheels. The bracelet has a sister hook clasp. A total of 11 charms. The bracelet is 7 3/4 inches long.
