This is a 1.5 inch RBM Atrice 1874 with the Bee hallmark locket. It is not marked but is gold filled. The front has a hand engraved floral design with two red, and three clear, paste stones. The inside has tone rings and cover . Opens from the top and closes securely with a nice snap. The reverse has the initials. "AEK" There is a ring for addition to a chain (not included). S
RBM stands for the R.B. MacDonald Company that opened in 1874 in Attleboro, Ma. There is the Bee hallmark and Atrice which is for the "Little Beatrice" line of lockets which they started producing in 1903. Named after their daughter Beatrice. Last known listing was in 1922.
