Gold

since 2016
A super pretty and unusual ring from the Victorian period, c1880s. The ring is made from solid 15ct gold and depicts ivy running through the centrepiece with little decorative branches to finish. The ivy leaves are studded with natural turquoise that varies between a vibrant turquoise and a softer green tone. There is lovely detail in the gold to mimic the branches and this ring exhibits a beautiful elegance.

Ivy was a popular motif during the Victorian period and came to symbolise fidelity due to the plants natural inclination to attach itself to something and never let go. It is also representative of eternity due to the fact that it is an evergreen plant.

This ring should be worn with care due to the nature of the setting of the turquoise.
