A pretty pair of earrings from the middle of the 20th Century, c1940s. The earrings themselves are made from 12ct gold and have three leaves that overlap each other to create a lovely design. Dangling from the bottom of the leaves are claw set cabochon black star sapphires. They each have a wonderful play of light across the stones. The earrings hang on little gold chains and have 18kt gold tops that are likely to be replacements to the originals.
