A pretty and romantic ring from the late Victorian period. The ring is made from 18ct gold and has a double heart motif with the hearts sitting back to back. Each heart is studded with a ruby, a sapphire and a diamond creating the look of red, white and blue. At the centre of the two hearts is another little diamond. The shoulders of the ring are beautifully carved and the ring is of the utmost quality. Perhaps this ring could be used as an alternative engagement ring. The gold has a wonderful buttery yellow and the ring also works perfectly in a stack.
