A stunning double snake ring from the late Victorian period, dated London 1898. Beautiful quality with a double band and two snake heads that meet in the middle. The shoulders of the ring are reminiscent of coiled snake bodies giving this a very different look from other snake rings from this era. The heads of each of the snakes are studded with old mine cut diamonds and they measure approximately 2.4mm in diameter. Made from 18ct gold and fully hallmarked.
