A pretty and very unusual locket from the late Victorian period, c1890. The locket has beautiful lined glass that is a deep amethyst purple. The glass has been set into a 14ct gold frame, which has a bale similar to that of a watch. The locket opens to reveal the inside of the two domed pieces of glass. A lovely piece of craftmanship and classically Victorian.
Chain is for display only.
