A large and impressive locket from the mid 20th Century, made in the Victorian style. The locket is made from 14kt gold and has wonderful machine work etching across the domed front with a little flower design covering the surface. At the center is a little half pearl that has been set in a raised claw setting. The back of the locket has a circular design etched into it and it is a flat surface allowing the locket to sit flat against the body. The back opens to reveal two gold frames with their original glass. The frames can be removed to place a picture or momento behind. A wonderful and striking locket.
