A pretty locket from the Edwardian period, circa 1905. The locket is made from solid 9kt gold and is formed in the shape of a heart. The heart has an elegant basket of flowers etched into the front and the style of this basket is so very reminiscent of the time. The gold of the locket has a very definite rosy color to it and contains two frames that can be removed to place your own tiny photos behind. The locket is hallmarked on the back and inside behind one of the frames with .375 denoting 9kt gold. It is English in origin and has its original faceted split ring as the bale.
The locket hangs on an 18" 14kt gold fill chain that is included
