What a unique necklace made from soap bubble beads that are strung on either side with small gold tone beads for edging. Very lightweight and very sparkly this vintage piece does not have a clasp at all, it simply slips over the head. The centerpiece in front has 2 layers somewhat in the shape of a flower or star and consists of the soap bubbles, clear plastic beads and lots of the gold tone beads all strung together with a center bead of a soap bubble. The construction of this necklace must have taken a long time as each bead is threaded horizontally not vertical and then threaded onto each end of a gold tone bead. It looks almost as if it was crocheted! In very nice condition for its age the front has a couple of clear beads that are pulled out a bit more than the others but nothing noticeable. It is in total 18" long with the chain at 16" and 1/2" wide, the center at 2" long and 1 1/2" wide. Fabulous vintage necklace with a different look!
