Makkum Pottery Hand Painted Orchid Flower Brooch Vintage

Beautiful blue, yellow and white colored hand painted big orchid floral brooch created by Makkum pottery. Well marked on the back with the Makkum pottery shield and crown mark it also has various other letters and number markings. Round in shape with a nice clear glaze it measures 1 7/8" round and closes at the back with a simple C clasp which is in good working order. Makkum is a very old Dutch pottery company which made a lot of dishes and vases, but I could not find many of these pins online.
