What a gorgeous flower (possibly sunflower) brooch with the petals done in an iridescent coating that shines faintly brownish to green with tiny flecks of bright green throughout! The coating on the petals is very different than any I've seen before so I am not sure what the actual name of it is or if it is some kind of enameling. In very good vintage condition the pin is 2" long by 2" wide and closes at the back with a safety rollover clasp that is in good working order. The pin closing has a very slight bend to it, but does not affect closing. The center portion is all gold tone and very highly textured. Marked only with a number 47088 I am not aware of the maker as I could find nothing on who used a 5 digit number. Beautiful and very different with the tiny green flecks that have a glow in the dark look to them!
