Presenting a Regency Burlwood & Brass Document Box with Key c. 1820. This piece is in very good condition considering its age. The box features burlwood styled sides and brass accents such as the small handle that folds out from the lid. The box comes with its original key to lock the box which does in fact function perfectly. The box has three sections inside separated by wooden dividers. The interior of the lid is lined with a multi-coloured paper. Please note that there are a couple cracks on the burlwood on the top which are shown in the pictures. The piece measures approximately 10 1/2" long, 8" wide and 4 1/4" tall.
