A beautiful dining table made from solid and exquisitely patinaed walnut by the end of the 19th century during the Renaissance revival period, consisting of a rectangular parquet top extendable thanks to a large pair of matching pull out leaves located at each end, all sitting upon an intricately recessed gadrooned belt accented with floral motif and supported by boldly sculpted turned columns highlighted by detailed acanthus rosette. Note the H-shaped stretcher providing stability and sturdiness. Such table can be conveniently used as a desk or conference table. Minor scratches and dents as well as minor water rings can be see here and there due to the age. Circa date 1890. Dimensions 29 ½"high/ 54 ½"long/ 98"long with leaves out/ 39"deep.
