This is a beautiful French Louis XV style bombe commode made at the beginning of the 20th century. This stunning piece is topped by its original serpentine shaped Alep Breccia marble and combines mahogany and rosewood veneer. This magnificent chest of drawers is boasting an intricate inlaid embellishment on each side, representing interlaced floral and acanthus patterns. The facade is providing a pair of drawers "Sans Traverse" highlighted with acanthus shaped handles and escutcheons while the side are mounted with rococo chutes. The lock is original and in working order. Minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa 1910-1920. Dimensions 36"high/ 45"wide/ 22"deep.
