This is a very nice country french dining table made at the beginning of the 20th century from solid walnut and originally coming from Provence in the south of France. This lovely patinaed table consists of an elegant serpentine shaped parquet top extendable thanks to matching pull out leaves located at each end, all sitting on a beautiful pediment highlighted with a scrolled belt boasting an impressive embellishment with flower bouquets carved in high relief and pierced carved urns, all supported by thick cabriole legs mounted on intricately sculpted escargot feet. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1900-1910. Dimensions 30"high/ 63"long/ 105" long with leaves out/ 39"wide.
