This is a tall and elegantly simple Pier Mirror from the beginning of the 20th century, originally coming from the Languedoc area (Wine Region in southern France). The frame is highlighted with several silvered bronze accents, it features a crest centering a shell flanked with acanthus leaves above grape. Each corner is embellished with bronze acanthus rosettes. The beveled mirror is original, several dark spots can be seen at the base due to the age. The paint is not original and estimated to be a decade old or so. Circa date 1910-1920. Dimensions 76"high/ 29"wide. Layaway available for this item.
