This is a beautifully sculpted Sideboard made from solid walnut by the end of the 19th century during the Renaissance revival period. originally coming from Perpignan in the southwest of France near the Spanish border. This intricately embellished buffet consists of a straight facade featuring a pair of drawers upon a pair of paneled recessed doors accented with Medieval figures. Once opened the doors reveals a spacious storage area with single shelf. The cabinet is standing above an open niche with boldly sculpted columns connected to the straight back legs thanks to a bottom shelf, all supported by ball feet. Lock is in working condition. Several minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1890-1900. Dimensions 45"high/ 53"wide/ 21½"deep. Layaway available for this item.
