A nice and decorative Mirror made from solid oak by the end of the 19th Century. This lovely mirror is usually placed above a mantle or a piece of furniture. It consists of a rectangular and arched frame mounted by an intricately sculpted crest depicting a shell, standing upon the original beveled mirror. Note the volutes and olive tree designs flanking the piece and indicating this item is originally from the south of France. Minor scratches and dents can be seen on the frame. Circa date 1890-1900. Dimensions 34"high/ 50"wide.
