This is an interesting Console Table made by the end of the 19th century from solid beech and originally coming from northern France. This table can be used either as a console table against a wall or behind a sofa or as a dining table. It consists of a long and narrow rectangular top sitting upon a pair of harp-shaped legs, each boasting a pierced carved heart, connected to each other thanks to a long bottom stretcher providing stability. Several minor scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1880-1890. Dimensions 31"high/ 83"long/ 29"wide.
