This is a beautiful and tall pair of candlesticks sculpted from solid beech by the second half of the 18th century during the Louis XVI era. Each nicely turned and adorned with acanthus patterns supported by a tripod base. This pair was converted into lamps by the second half of the 19th century and is ready to be mounted with US wire. Minor scratches and dents can be seen due to the age. Circa date 1780-1790. Dimensions 24"high/ 10"diameter (Base).
