This is a beautiful Console from the beginning of the 19th century, inspired of the Louis XV style and consisting of its original Maurin Green marble sitting upon an intricately scrolled belt and pediment highlighted by gilt acanthus leaves. Note the Maurin Green was very trendy during the 19th century and was actually used for Napoleon's Tomb aux Invalides in Paris. Circa date 1810-1820. Dimensions 33½”high/ 31½”wide/ 10½”deep.
