A very convenient and elegantly simple Demi Lune Game Table from the beginning of the 19th century made from a beautifully patinaed mahogany directly inspired of the Louis XVI era more or less a couple of decades earlier consisting of a large folding top revealing a spacious game area covered by a green felt, all highlighted by brass ormulus and borders, and supported by graceful fluted legs. Note minor scratches and dents can be seen due to the age. It is not unusual today to have these type of tables used as rounds dining or serving table. Circa date 1800.
