This is a stunning and beautifully sculpted Cabinet, originally a Garde Manger as indicated by the small ventilation holes on each side, made by the end of the 17th Century during the Charles II period (1660-1685) boasting an impressive hand carved embellishment and offering a spacious and well ventilated storage area revealed by the central door mounted by a late 18th century lock in working order, all supported by a sturdy and boldly sculpted pediment. Note several minor scratches and dents can be seen all around this piece of history due indeed to the age. Circa date 1670-1680. Dimensions 48" high/ 48" wide/ 19 ½" deep.
