This is a very tall and elegantly simple Louis Philippe period Gun Cabinet made from pine by the first half of the 19th century, consisting of a towering case boasting a large single glass door featuring its original glass pane, revealing a spacious storage area accommodating up to five guns (We had only four available for the picture). Note the interior compartment was upgraded a little bit if we might say by the previous owner as this piece was originally with no interior shelf since it was used to display Muskets, which were longer. Several scratches and dents can be seen due to the age. Circa date 1840. Dimensions 95"high/ 20"wide/ 10"deep.
