Wonderful English 9ct gold ring in the form of a belt. This ring features small diamond set into an eight pointed star. It has an even width all the way around, except at the buckle and belt loop, is barrel shaped, and has a nice heavy feel to it. It carries the full British hallmark on the inside of the band, and was made in London by Payton, Pepper and Sons in 1969. Photographing this ring was difficult because of the reflections on it's shiny surface. It looks much nicer in person, and is sure to please the new owner.
This ring carries the full English hallmarks of 9 and 375 for 9ct gold, the leopard's head for London, the date letter o for 1969, and the maker's mark PP. It contains one small diamond approximately 2 to 3 points, measures 6mm wide all the way around, 10mm wide at the buckle, and weighs 5.1 grams. It is in excellent condition, with very little wear.
