European 14K rose gold and turquoise pendant. This beautiful gold pendant features a Persian turquoise stone at the center, surrounded by blue stones in the middle and purple stones around the outer ring. It is in the design of a wheel with spokes, each spoke having a bead of gold in the center and culminating in either a gold flower or purple stone at the outer edge. The gold is a rich rosy gold color. The bail is a nice size. It is a lovely, large pendant.
It has a very tiny mark near the bail that appears to be the 800 gold mark for Portugal. 800 gold is 19.2 carat gold, however I acid tested the piece and verified that it is a minimum of 14K gold, could possibly be higher. It measures 29mm in diameter, and including the bail is 39mm long. It is in excellent condition, and dates between the 1940's to 1950's.
