This colorful Chinese style 14K yellow gold ring and pendant set is set with 6 various color navette shape jade stones, forming an elongated flower. The stones range from black to white with green, orange and yellow in between. Both the ring and pendant are designed in the shape of the number 8, which is a very auspicious number in Chinese culture. The outer edge has fine rope detailing. Eight's are a symbol of wealth, and considered to be lucky in Chinese culture.
Both the ring and pendant are made of 14K yellow gold, the ring is marked 14K 585 inside the band, and the pendant is marked 14K. There are 12 davette shaped jade stones of various colors in both pieces. The ring is a size 6.25, and measures 19mm long by 11mm wide. The pendant is 25mm long, including the bail. The set weighs a total of 5.2 grams, and is in excellent condition. It dates to the 1960's to 1970's.
