European Art Nouveau Rubina Verde Floral Polychrome Enamel Vase. This striking, rubina verde glass vase is shaded from deep ruby red to green. It is decorated with polychrome enamel daisies, poppies, etc., that are tied together at the bottom by a blue ribbon. It stands 12 inches tall, has a ruffled rim, a ribbed interior and smooth exterior, and a large polished pontil. The vase is in excellent condition, with no damage, and all the enamel intact. It is unsigned, except for what looks like an etched L on the bottom. I tried to research the maker, but was unable to determine who made it. The quality of this piece is superb, and possibly made by Mont Joye / Legras or Moser glass. It dates to about 1890 - 1910.
In my research, I found one other vase that was identical, except that is was .75 inches shorter. It sold at auction back in 2004.
