Antique Edwardian platinum and diamond ring with sapphire accents. Beautiful old hand made platinum ring featuring 9 sparkling, clean, white round cut diamonds and 2 triangular sapphire accents. The center of the ring features 3 sparkling white diamonds, with an additional 3 diamonds on both the top and bottom of the ring. There are small triangular sapphire accents on either side of the ring. The diamonds vary in size from 2-3mm, weighing approximately .75 carats. The ring measures 22mm long by 19mm wide. There is pierce work around the center three stones, and some hand chasing on the sides. It dates to the Edwardian period between 1900 - 1910. The inside of the band is marked 'platinum', meaning it is the highest quality platinum containing at least 950 parts of platinum per 1000. The ring is in great antique condition, with only slight wear along the sides. It is a size 6.
