Vintage 14K ring with on opal and emeralds. The wonderful 14K yellow gold open work setting is the perfect backdrop for the oval opal in the center of the ring, surrounded by eight small round cut emeralds. The opal is more green/blue in color with an occasional fiery red flash. The gold work in this ring features delicate bars of gold radiating from the center, with a row of open hearts all around the edge. This is a large ring, measuring 1.06 inches from top to bottom and .82 inches from side to side, and is a size 7.25. It is unmarked, but has been acid tested to confirm that it is 14K gold. It is in excellent condition, with only the lightest wear to the back of the band which is less than normal for it's age. It dates between the 1960's to 1970's. The ring is very comfortable to wear, and looks impressive on the hand.
