Antique sterling silver pin tray by Gorham. This pretty sterling silver pin tray was made by Gorham, c. 1889. The footed tray has little ball feet, and an interesting shape of an oval combined with a rectangle. There is a pretty repousse floral design around the edge. The bottom has the Gorham mark, with the word sterling, the number 40 (probably the pattern #), and the date mark for 1889. It measures 5.75 inches long by 2.62 inches wide. The monogram in the center is JEM. It has a couple of very tiny pinpoint dings and some slight indentations can be seen on the rim from the underside. Overall, it is in wonderful condition for it's age.
