Stunning 14K yellow gold watch with a diamond pave face, by Longines-Wittnauer. The softly rounded, square shaped face is encrusted with pave set diamonds, with black hour and minute hands that stand out nicely from their brilliant background. The band is done in a stylized open leaf design, with a nice soft hammered texture to the band. Both the watch & the band are solid 14K gold. It is a manual wind watch which dates to the early 1970's.
The movement markings are Longines Co. Swiss Watch, 17 Jewels, Unadjusted, 5602, and the serial number is 53533511. The inside back of the case is marked Longines-Wittnauer, Ross, R010255602, and 35190. Both the back of the case and the clasp on the band are marked 14K. The watch weighs 38 grams with the movement, and over 32 grams without it.
The watch in good working condition, and appears to keep very good time. Overall, the watch is in fine condition, with only a few very fine scratches on the back of the clasp, and a very tiny nick on the bottom beveled edge of the crystal at the 6 o'clock position. It is missing the safety chain which could easily be added. However, mechanical watches can stop working without notice, so it is being sold as is. I will be happy to verify that it is still working just prior to you placing a purchase order.
The watch face measures .68 inches wide, and the watch will fit a wrist that is 6.25 inches or less. It is being offered at a very reasonable price.
