Mid Victorian 14K Rose Gold and Natural Pearl Ring, This charming mid-Victorian ring is beautifully made! It is in the form of a crown, set with five natural pearls. Each side of the band has arrow and heart symbols, a lovely design for a sweetheart. Perhaps a gentleman gave this ring to his sweetheart as a memento for their trip to Bermuda. The workmanship throughout this ring is superb: the wonderful mill grain work, the way the pearls are set with prongs that look like claws, holding each pearl securely in place. The inside of the band is inscribed with the name J E Sargent, and the back of the band is inscribed 'Bermuda 1876'. The ring is unmarked but has been acid tested to assure that it is 14K gold. It is a size 6.25. Except for a minor nick on the edge of the band in the back, the ring is in exceptional condition. Rarely do you see a ring of this age in such beautiful condition.
