This oval celluloid picture frame measures 6 1/4" X 8" and holds a 5" X 6" photograph. There is a hand-tinted period photograph included with this frame. The frame is molded. Celluloid is an early plastic used primarily before 1930. This frame dates from around 1930. The back fits inside the front. It fits well; there are no cracks or warping. There is an easel is glued to the back; this is a tabletop frame. A piece of glass covers the photo. This frame has two ball feet glued to the bottom. This celluloid frame is in exceptionally fine original vintage condition.
