Here is a quirky Native American cast sterling silver pin in the form of a large cat, or puma. The face is incised with the recessed areas acid treated as in Hopi work. There is raised area of channel inlay work along the cat's back featuring turquoise, spiny oyster, black onyx, malachite, and other polished stones. The workmanship is good. This fun piece is signed on the back "Rock Kritter" (somewhat hard to read) and "sterling." The pin has a modern safety catch; it dates from the 1980's or 1990's. This pin is in excellent original condition. It measures 1 3/4" long by 1" high and weighs 7.2 grams.
